1. OK Very many thanks for your detailed response, very useful! Meanwhile, Boblet666 very kindly responded to my private message (tried that path too, which proved useful). His wife's folding electrical di Blasi R34 both battery AND motor were upgraded in the end (36V , 350W from what I understand), and were adding more power and a few mph. It was operating normally, no sense of wobbly danger. It's been many years since then, the trike was sold at some point. Sure this indirect feedback will help others.
2. Very many thanks for your kind help! Can't see anything showing the battery's state of charge, so that's not an issue. More suitable controllers seems to be available for online purchasing, though I'm unsure about how to evaluate motor overheating from current control. Boblet666's thriving fried motor experience feedback picks my curiosity still!
3. Having the same problem as you, Boblet666, with my wife's (somewhat wobbly) R34 Di Blasi, upgrading the 24V 9AH battery to a 36V one by adding cells seems a reasonably priced option. Has your wife's Di Blasi motor and controller survived the 36V battery adventure after all these years? Very many thanks in advance for any help. Apologies for digging this subject back up.
