I currently have a Giant / Yamaha mid drive motor for sale on eBay from an Entour +11 very low miles used came from Tredz customer return I think a problem with the rear rack mounting not connecting the battery properly. Any members who want it? I’ll give them a good discount of the eBay price.

I have some info from JBD if you want it I can not find your e mail to forward to you if you want it send me a message on here not public and I will forward it to you wiring diagrams , schematics and QR codes for dealers.

If you remove these from a perfectly good fully charged battery they go into fault mode and will not work I think anti tamper as in lots of previous posts

I have quite a few of them STL just to clarify not the Dafron . They all do the same thing will not allow the Carrera STL battery to charge once they fall below 38V . I thought they were all the same ? I am not planning to use any thing on the Cannondale happy looking at lcd or phone

Torque sensor cables were damaged. Any ideas for replacement? It’s possible to take these apart I think so just put in a new wire ? One chap on e bay done it to an old Suntours one I gave him to see if he could repair it I will have a look and see if I can find it as it was some time ago.

currently doing clinical trials with the pigweed and soursop. I seem to be getting up this through the night to use the loo since I’ve been drinking it. Morning I got the parts in from Ali to finish the Cannondale but I am feeling a bit crap at the moment, ear infection and getting very tired quickly. I’ll post some pictures of how I set it up with the new BMS stuck to the KT controller just trying to work out how to make your own waterproof. I’m thinking of shrink wrap or I have a roll of rubber roofing material in my shed well of cut anyway it’s good material and very heat resistant. I sure Bluetooth or transmit through it though. I have seen one chap wrap a battery pack in it or similar on YouTube before he put heat shrink round a battery pack looked good. I have attached the BMS with the on and off switch PCB in the photos just wondering do you think the on and off switch or even the power indicator could be made to work with the new Bluetooth BMS on the STL battery? It has 12 wires so you said it’s just a volt meter would it be possible just to connect wires to the individual cell groups and work out which is the on and off switch is it possible? Do you think? Obviously safely. along with the Essiac tea I am now drinking a mixture of pigweed and soursop leaves as a herbal drink. I have researched it on online and checked with my oncologist who has no problem with it as some claim it actually can cure prostate cancer might do a separate post on it soon on the back saddle thread . IE the whole cancer diet as I call it it’s definitely very healthy the hardest things I’m finding out to give up a glass of red wine and biscuits with my coffee in the morning so I’ve started making my own nut sugar-free biscuits and drinking zero Guinness which is good compared to any of the other sugar-free beers I’ve tried. I am skeptic with a lot of these claims, but can see no of harm giving it a try especially as they are currently doing clinical trials with the pigweed and soursop. I have a meeting planned on Monday with my nephew’s friends dad who is claiming that alternative treatments along with his hospital treatments have put his prostate cancer into remission!! I also discussed this with my oncology team they were interested to know which treatment he’s on and what alternatives he was using. Let you know once I find out.

Not a bad idea as long as it does not lead to compulsory road tax insurance and all the other things that get people out of cars if it cuts down on the people using e-bikes for criminality i.e. Stealing phones from little girls.

Have you got any photos ? Is it mid drive or hub drive . I have never seen one . The problem with taking away any the original parts is you may devalue it 2009 e bike is worth putting away as it may become rare and increase in value if anyone collects them and ends up doing restoration.

Just put it out side to finish it off . It’s great to be working back outside what a horrible winter we just had stuck working in my spare room . I am going for a spin on this customers bike with the battery shortly last photo he inherited it with bits missing . we have some decent hills in Gladstone park near by or I might go up to The Free Masons Arms in Hampstead good 3 miles of up hill and have a naughty pint of Guinness when I get there . They are not a bad bike I think the older Carrera are better than the later ones .
