They just walking on the streets and try to check whole bike and if you are lucky, just got you and touch everywhere on bike. Unfortunately we can not any details about who is gonna check bikes, but if we all send same mail about valid bike check we could get response or some solution.

Mate i dont know what u wanna see or know but if you dont believe me please come to Exeter, i will give you one bike and go street have a look for officers or probably they will find you anyway. They dont share pics for each bike.

As you see picture, i live in Exeter and they keep taking bikes. probably you’ll say those are illegal. most of them it is but they don’t know how to check bikes and couple of guys lost bikes because of display shows more than 15.5mph. so we don’t know what tl do. that’s why i try to cut speed of my bike to don’t get trouble by police. Thanks for advise, but unfortunately when they make a test for a bike we can’t touch it. so that means if im not wrong ‘there is no way to cut speed when wheel on the air’

I also tried from display as well, when i on the bike and pedaling it goes 25.5km but without anything on the bike shows 40-45km. how’s possible? i fixed 25.5km and still shows 40-45km with limit. i still couldn’t understand problem.

Thanks for replying my comment, i live in UK so if you check some news you’ll see are we joking or not.. Yesterday police taken one of my friend ‘legal bike which is 250w rear motor and no throttle, only pedal assist. and the reason was pedal assist shows 45km on display.’ he went to police station with his bike’s proof paper to show them it’s a legal bike, they said; that person who’ll check your bike he’s not here at that moment and we’ll call you when your bike pass the legal test. that’s why i try to find a solution before i lost my bike because of that stupid rules. they don’t know what’s legal or illegal bike. they take without any exactly proof.

Hi everyone, i had also Bafang Mid Drive and same police problem as well. Just bought the cable which is need a connection for computer but im not pretty sure what i need to do exactly keep that speed 25.5km or 15.5 mph.. If anyone can share that settings with me, i will be appricate. Many thanks
