Hi everyone. Been reading up on here trying to gain whatever knowledge I can about getting my first Ebike. Ideally I would like an hybrid style with a rear carrier and don't mind too much if it's a step through or T type crossbar. It would be for light use around the country lanes and canals nearby. There are a couple of hilly parts ( not too steep )which is my main reason for opting for an ebike. I'm coming 65 and weigh around 12stone. Any advice regarding make, type of battery, tyres etc would be greatly appreciated. For my first bike I have set a budget of around £1800. Not vast amounts but won't be used every day so hoping I could pick up something suitable. Many thanks in advance.
