  1. I also have an 810 its a bit slow now as most smart phones are pretty good, though its open source that i miss, I got it for when I travel for banking etc.I dont need a tablet just want one for christmas have to buy my own presents nowdays sad.
  2. I am almost certainly gonna get the ASUS Nexus 7 32GB Alle tablets bestel online bij Saturn and use this maybe, How to read eBooks on Nexus 7. At 249euro thats a good deal but i will go tomorow and have a real good look at them the I-pad mini looks good though. one down side seems to be that they are crap in bright sunlight.
  3. I clean my bike in my shower and i just lean it against the wall on its stand so I can just rotate the pedal with the cleaner attached to the chain it works. The first couple of times It was messy as I used a lot of lube and did not clean it very well,I now clean it till it shines and lube every link and wipe all the excess off, I have to take off the pedal to remove the chain guard cross threaded the pedal the first time, replaced the crank arm when I replaced the chain and casset last month after 5000km got some shimano anti-seize a 125ml tube cost 10.75euro WTF the pedal screwed in like a dream still 10,75.
  4. The water thing started in the 1940s when a boffin decided the humans need 2.1/2ltrs of water a day to live long and prosper that was from all sources, then fitness gurus decided that the 2.1/2ltrs was on top off what we get from food and tea coffee etc. I have read that some people who took Es in the noughties died from ODs on water not that I know anything about drugs.
  5. I had a miniscus op 20 months ago and diclofenac is the anti pain/inflammitory pill that works all the others just did not work, you can also take them with parecetamol,i just use them when I have pain 75mg with omeprazel for the stomach plus a couple of parecetamol twice a day just works,- Getting an E-bike was the best thing I ever did its done wonders for my condition and my knees,I have noticed I sweat less now after a ride, I still sweat but my merino wool dont need wringing out. On friday night riding home from work I hit the 5000km mark thats in about 10 months of riding had the bike just over a year a month off when we had a freeze and recovering from a bang on the head and a month off on holiday in Thailand. One thing about diclofenac there was a report it can cause serious heart problems in some people, I love it because it gets me through the really bad times with my knee and shoulder and back but i only use it when i really hurt.
  6. just getting some miles in your legs may work wonders for your knees/legs take it easy at first,a crank driven bike with low gears will most likely pull you up most hills max power lowest gears you will be suprised.not that I know about hills living in the Netherlands. If money is not a problem a Swiss Flyer may fit the bill a few hills there.

  8. You never have to ¨justify¨ the purchase of a bike E or otherwise.
  9. working knees and legs again priceless. bike cost 4000euro -10kg = 400euro a kg priceless. In ten months of actuall riding 4776km going to work monday in mist and having the sun burn of the mist and suddenly its 20c and autum in all its glory can not put a price on it. some people know the price of everything and the value of nothing.
  10. Lifes too short to stuff a mushroom. superwomen I believe.
  11. Just had a new chain and casset they also replaced the drive sprocket 4500 km in 9 months the chain was well worn and very noisy,I lubed the chain when it was only half clean it took 4-5 times of cleaning the chain to realise OH! thats what a clean chain looks like, keep your chain, casset, chain wheel clean.
  12. If you ever watch American Pickers on TV they go orgasmic over stuff like this ,one mans junk and all that It may even be cheap at that price.
  13. My No1 reason for getting an E-bike was exercise, a 40km round trip on an high speed bike has saved my knees and got me mobile again also has got me lifting light weights and stretching every day....and you cant put a price on your health and wellbeing, The downside is the cost of the bike having to keep the chain and cassete clean [dualdrive] thats a pain and messy and I have to replace them now after 4000km, A choice between a bike that cuts out at 25kph or a moped/scooter the latter would win every time, I would try a fast non e bike first but i fear my choice would cost far more than a moped.you can use an E-bike in the wind I would not be able to handle a normal bike with the way it can blow here in north holland, get an high speed e-bike you dont have to drive flat out all the time everywhere.
  14. Had fun going to work on Thursday reached 47.4kph I was slipstreaming a invalid car! they are only supposed to go 45kph.
