  1. You can't go wrong with a bike from Woosh or Wisper. Choose hub drive, cadence sensor, biggest battery you can afford. Easy.
  2. I have a 20" wheel folding bike. I followed the configurator for a front wheel hub motor. It eventually led to one option, the Brompton Q70 kit which is for 75mm fork dropouts. My bike has 100mm fork dropouts. No mention was made by the configurator of the Muxus XF07 kit that you list for 20" wheeled bikes with 100mm dropouts.
  3. With regard to the motor, why not just buy a Bafang 250w sticker from eBay and slap it on the motor, covering up what's already there? Who would ever know? Is there a sticker on the frame anywhere, stating 350w? Like here:

OK, so it's not a JN controller then. Sorry, I'm out of ideas, apart from the obvious which your customer doesn't want to pay for.

Hello Dave, Can you see any labels or product numbers on the controller? I'm no expert but I've been doing a bit of Googling. The G20 24v display uses No.2 Communication Protocol (UART2) and is commonly used with JN controllers which use the same protocol. Therefore any 24v display that uses UART2 Protocol should work. 6. Fit a disc on the front at least then. The front brake is your main brake.
  7. Dropper seat post or sell the bike and get a step-thru, seriously.
  8. Mate please stop falling off, you get me worried. Bike looks good, a real bargain I'd say. The seat looks very low for a 6' 6" bloke, perhaps a dropper post could benefit you, I've always scoffed at them but it might work in your case. Looking forward to Weston pics!
  9. You clearly have more knowledge than I on this subject.
  10. Yes, this is my other bike, The battery and controller (and a lot of wiring) are in the bag at the front of the bike. However my 15Ah battery weighs 2.4Kg. The bag is attached to the frame though . One has to look hard at the bike (i.e. front wheel) to realise it is an electric bike. Blimey, I seem to be posting a lot today.
  11. As a minimum you need: Name of Manufacturer, Wattage (max 250w), Voltage (max 48v), Max assist speed (25 KM/HR or 15.5 MPH)
  12. Loads of videos on Youtube about adjusting V Brakes.
  13. Well, it doesn't have to be that way, if you give some thought to cable management. This is my 2002 Trek, not a zip tie in sight. I forget what the original question was now, but I agree about Woosh. My MXUS XF08C kit from Woosh has been faultless for three years now. And talking of sticky wickets, I have never used throttles, but I know many people like them. I realise some throttles are legal but If you have an independent throttle, your bike's getting crushed (unless you own a Wisper with all that DVLA paperwork of course).
