FREE non-working eZee Torq + batteries + chargers
Oh dear, poor Kevin is on his way I guess, and everything has gone wrong it's not his or my lucky day. I just took the bike out for a test ride and the pedal crank snapped right off throwing me off the bike, and now my phone has stopped working so if he's wandering around trying to call me and ask me where I am he can't. I've left him messages on his voicemail with my mobile number, I hope he picks them up. Boy, talk about unlucky!

Hi Kevin, I can't get hold of you on your number. I live in the Millennium Village, near(ish) to the North Greenwich station. Email me at aroncox@<ignorethis>gmail.com and I'll send you directions. I'll be home from work around 6:30pm ish depending on the tube. Aron.

Wanted: Charger for Eeze Torq battery
Check out my post above for a FREE eZee Torq, comes with multiple chargers (two li-ion ones I believe) as long as you take the lot! Hope that's helpful.

FREE non-working eZee Torq + batteries + chargers
I have a NON-working eZee Torq that I am fed-up with looking at. So if you want one for spares or to play with it's yours for free as long as you either pick itt up (I'm in Greenwich, London) or arrange for delivery. There's also numerous chargers and batteries, both li-ion and NiMh. The bike itself needs a bit of sorting out, for example the front wheel isn't very true, and the on/off switch for the motor is broken as I fell off at one point. Hopefully a good deal for someone! Reply here the first who makes a reasonable offer (in terms of no effort from me apart from staying home on a certain day gets it). Aron.

Anyone here with Multiple Sclerosis?
Thanks for the mesages. Yes, I guess once my doctor gets round to talking to me I can ask him some questions, but it would be nice to know if there are any cyclists out there who can relate their experiences. Especially e-bike cycliss of course I will read Sheldon Brown's journal, thanks for the link!

Anyone here with Multiple Sclerosis?
I've just been diagnosed with Mutiple Sclerosis, and I'm wondering if that's likely to affect my ability to cycle to work every day. Anyone here have MS, or know a cyclist with MS? How has it affected you/them? I'd hate to splash out on a new e-bike only to find I can't use it in a few months time.

Help with eZee Torq
I've had my eZee Torq for a number of years now, and when it works it's brilliant. I use it for my long commute across London every day. However, it's probably worked less than half the time I've had it, and it's been back to 50Cycles on numerous ocassions. Basically what happens is that it'll work for a short distance then cut out and not work again with no lights showing. It's been rewired by 50Cycles, and I've tried both types of batteries, but each time it comes back to me it'll stop working very quickly if not on my first journey. In fact this year it has only worked for perhaps one month right at the beginning, if even that. Does anyone know anywhere I can get it fixed? Or does anyone have any ideas what I can do to get it running again? I've spent so much money on this bike with the cost of the bike, the extended warranty, the multiple chargers etc. it would be so good to get it running again. Thanks for your help! Aron.

Thanks, Happy New Year to you too (and everyone else of course)

Fell Off
Interesting as where I fell off was right next to where all the buses stop in Greenwich, there are a number of bus stops in a row, and I fell off on a sharp bend just before the stop. Oh well, I know where to go slow next time!

Fell Off
Thanks for the replies everyone! I didn't realize cars/vans could leak diesel onto the road, but I'm sure that was the problem. It was horrible as there was no warning and no chance of regaining control. I wonder how long it will be before I can cycle again, I guess I'll at least have to wait for the cast to come off. Oh well back to horrible public transport.

Fell Off
Well it's not my month obviously! 50Cycles returned my bike after spending a lot of time working on it (thanks guys!) and on my way home I must've hit some black ice or oil as my wheels slipped out from under me and I skidded sideways into and partially under a bus. I've fractured my left wrist, and my right elbow and lost a lot of skin from my knees, so no more cycling for a while. Now my wife and mum are telling me to get rid of my bike, but I'm sure it was just one of those things and won't happen again (for a long time anyway). What are the worst cycling related injuries you've had? Do you have any helpful hints on how to stop tyres from slipping? Do you change the way you cycle in the winter months? Thanks, Aron.

eZee Torq NiMH: How far can I go
I sent my bike and three batteries to eZee Cycles today. They're going to give them all a good test, I'm assuming two of the batteries are dead, so you may want to mention this to 50Cycles and I'll be happy for you to arrange to get the cases from them from any dead batteries. Then you can build your own, I'm pretty sure it's not something I'll ever do!
