Find me a Connex 15t sprocket

Featured Replies

Possibly one for you here SW.

As you know, Connex is my brand of choice when it comes to front sprockets for the Bosch motor system, but I can't currently find any 15t sprockets. All the usual purchasing haunts in Germany seem to be out of stock.

I've just bought two Connex 16t sprockets from Bike Discount De as a stop gap, but need/want a 15t before the Swiss trip in three weeks time.

Rather than look at porn tonight SW, see what you can find for me. :)

I'm not interested in any other make of sprocket.

.

Is the front sprocket removal "spider tool" the same as the classic or do I need to buy another?

First time. :)

That was the site that I'd been trying to find, but couldn't remember the name of. For some reason it isn't in my favourites any more.

Thanks for that. :)

Tool looks like a good thing to have but How do you buy it? I cant find an option to add to basket.. Or is this the first Brexit anomaly?...

its near the bottom and add it to the cart and pay with paypal.

What am I missing?

It is available as a kit with sprocket at 85Euros.. when I click ad to cart bellow the tool it adds the crank extractor. I cant see aan add to cart for the tool alone.

Is it only available from this one supplier?

it says in stock but ur right no way to add it to the basket? id email them as all the other links are there.

did you want dual sprockets ? as can buy it with that if you wanted you dont need the brass washers tho as there for haibike.

SW you are way out in front.. I dont know anything about double sprockets.. Is that actually possible? I was thinking I needed one anyway for when this one wears out.. I must keep up!!

you can have 14t-18t or 15t-18t is the options you can have its just two sprockets with a spacer in the middle but only they make that and you cant put two normal ones together.

Oh! I presume these both fit without modification and it will be an awkward manual change over when necessary... Do you have this on yours?

my sprocket is x sync to go with my cassette why i never got 1 but edd has the same and normal front sprocket so should work.

you will have to change it buy hand tho but just take tension of the rear mec and pop the chain over.

Just been reading their blurb and says can have error issus with 14-36 so do you think 15-18 is best. If anything I only want lower gears as big climbs are hard work keeping the cadence up

i have 16t on my bike and have put a 19t on it with no errors but did not feel right so took it off.

they make 14t to 22t sprockets so any of those should work

There are only 2 options..

14+18 and 15+18. I think its the 14 that might give errore, and I tend to be unlucky..

buy a cheap 14t for ten quid soon find out :) i cant see there being a problem as you have the cx motor and most bikes have 14t on them from new.

Just checked mine and its 17 with 11-36

can see why you want lower gears then but any size up to 22t should work with no errors.

i think edds fs has 14t? might have some spare you could try ;)

Like you say they are only about 12 quid on ebay so might just buy one to try. Still need the tool tho so have mailed that site and asked why I cant buy one..

might just say bugger it and buy the 15-18 kit with the tool.

That will give lbs something to look at at when it goes in for a service..

the lbs will take 1 look at that and say wtf lol not many know they even make them in the first place ;)

there is also this bit cost more

Yep, bought the classic on from them and its a pain to use on a wrench.. the one you found looks far superior..

Going to order now.. How long is shipping from them?
