The only source of cash to prop up the false economies of the Western Nations, is those countries who have a trade surplus. China: Commodities The Far East: Oil & gas Russia: Gas. If the Western world ceases to have cash with which to purchase their wares, then they too will be drawn into the downturn. Hence the title of the thread. "Could you please lend us sixty billion pounds?" "What do you want the mony for?" "So that we can buy your products!" The economic logic of a ten year old.
