Slight issue with my Rio MTB. Speed not displaying

Featured Replies

Hi Wooshy people! I have had a slight issue with my Rio, it has decided to stop displaying the speed im travelling at, when using my phone to give me a speedo, it was stating my speed was 19 mph on the throttle, the motor was not cutting out. I am guessing its something to do with a sensor somewhere? any advice ?

Cheers all

the speed sensor is inside the lid of the motor. Please email support@wooshbikes.co.uk - andy will sort it for you.

If you want to do that yourself, you can. The lid is held in place with 6 x M5 bolts. After removing the bolts, tap on the side to rotate the lid about 10mm and use a flat blade screwdriver to lift the lid. The magnets are stuck inside the lid, they may have become unstuck. They need to be reglued with a little araldite.
