PSWPOWER - DO NOT USE THEM

Featured Replies

My parcels have arrived from PSW, I've not opened them yet but they seem undamaged.

They were delivered to a neighbour due to me being at work but the courier never left a notice, if my neighbour wasn't so honest I wouldn't have a clue they had been delivered.

Tbh since covid this a cop out a lot of couriers tend to use to save time and enable more delieveries.

Many shipping companies pay the drivers a fixed amount to deliver the item. If they have to make several journeys to deliver something, they make a loss. That's obviously a lot worse if the recipient lives somewhere out of the way.

Most couriers seem to send an email automatically after (claimed) delivery. Often the first I know when I'm sitting right near the front door; leave it on the doorstep, tick the box on their gizmo, and the email is sent.

I've posted before.

Long story short.

Ordered 48V battery and 48V Tongsheng motor

They sent a 36V motor

They finally admitted they sent the wrong motor

Settlement was I send motor back to UK address they / Ali Express supplied

I send motor back - Seller stated motor received.

NO MONEY refunded to my account

I tried to contact them through Ali Express but they BLOCKED me sending messages!

Ali Express think dispute is closed.

PSWPOWER are SCUM !!

I would never buy from a non reputable company I have NO comeback with, ali express, timu is it, and so on.

Well... your loss. I bought from PSW and will buy again. PSW is my favorite seller.

Look forward to seeing pictures and an account of your conversion. Hope it goes well.

I was out today on the newly converted bike, sort of a proof of concept come test ride, initial impressions are generally good.

That looks mean! :)

Do you have hub gears on that bike or is it a single speed?

Also what is in the triangle bag?

You can't complain about the price you paid for the battery and the BBS01. I'm not up on prices but that seems very cheap.

EDIT:

Oooh - belt drive! I expanded the image and can see better now.

Check this out for shit packaging from PSW Power!

This is how it arrived. Parcel force took a photo for their records. The contents could have easily fallen out but seem to be OK hopefully! You pays your money and you takes your chances.

That's not PSWPower fault. It was opened at customs check and not put back properly.

Again, I've nothing but praise for PSW, my packages were very well protected and wrapped.IMG_20240723_162329.thumb.jpg.586ed0ab4f0f48cfdd3cb249d290d90f.jpg

Good point, didn't think of that. Labour cut backs must mean HMRC no longer have supplies of packing tape!

All it needs is that lazy, arrogant scum, empowered by government agencies, open the package and stuff it back together without any care. Why should they care? They have the power to interfere with your property and no accountability is in place. If the management doesn't care, the font line workers won't care either. The person who ruined that package, has probably ruined another fifty since then.

Interestingly I thought.

Products can't be marked delivered unless the GPS device they use is close to your house.

That's if they bother to mark parcel as delivered however, they have to if that if they want to get paid.

Makes me wonder why they don't mark parcels as delivered sometimes?

Yep, Customs o_O

I've had a few pallets sent from UK to Europe, all arrived ok apart from 1 ( a large box on a pallet, with a fire extinguisher on the pallet alongside the box, all shrink-wrapped professionally to secure it).

When it got to me the bottom of the shrinkwrap had been torn open and the fire extinguisher was lying unsecured on the pallet.

I spoke to the chap who sent it and he emailed me photos confirming it was properly wrapped when it left him.

It's another case where customs have ripped it open, stuffed things back without securing them and sent it on it's way :(

count yourselves lucky. One time, they lost my shipment in their warehouse for two weeks. I got charged about £1,000 in bonded warehouse rentals.

As a small business I BUY boxes for the FILM processing units I sell and for the darkroom film dryers.

THAT is a crap cheap single wall corrugated box, not intended for out of country postage, even in country that would be garbage.

Even though I didn't buy battery from PSW I have just gone through the rigmarole of having to use PayPal for a Ali-express ‘original Samsung 30ah 48v battery‘ that after being delivered in a plan brown box, turn out to be a ‘who knows 16ah‘ after testing. At least it was 48v.

Paypal made me jump through hoops, even asking for a letter from the post office refusing to allow postage. (I had uploaded photos of every conceivable couriers web pages refusing to take a e-bike battery’s.)

Then suddenly they paid out after two weeks of emails and phone calls.

Ali-express seem to freeze the transaction as soon as i contacted PayPal, even though they refused to help, just giving me a address to somewhere in the uk that when I checked on google earth was in the middle of a industrial estate in the middle of nowhere. Lesson learned only buy small items of no great value fro All-express.

Aliexpress have their own system of complaints/refunds that works pretty well if you use it rather than bother with Paypal. It's a bit repetitive , though. You have to go through a loop three times before they pay out.

Sorry your right, it was just the mention of Aliexpress and the problems we seem to have getting refunds when things go wrong.

Just to clarify... have you bought a battery on Aliexpress from PSW? I have never seen 48V 30Ah battery in their offer.

No sorry not PSW, I regret leaving the comment as it was off topic. Just Ignore me…..
