He crashed his very illegal ebike and injured himself so he couldn't ride. They didn't want the police to get the bike when the ambulance arrived to take the rider, so mate hops out of the car and rides it home, I bet if the police go to his house in a couple of weeks, the bike will be back in his garden. Mercedes driver was probably the distributor of the drugs and provides the bikes to the mules. Passenger was probably the minder - quick thinking to retrieve the bike, which otherwise would have been seized and their guy prosecuted.
