Total system replacement

Featured Replies

A friend gave me an IGO bike that is almost new but wont start, the battery wont charge, no idea what the blinking led error code means, the compagny went bankrupt a couple years ago and it seems impossible to get parts and service. But the bike itself is like new.

My question, is it possible to "convert" an ebike into a new ebike by changing the whole system ? Who are the suppliers ? Conversion kits for traditional bikes are easy to find but I cant find anything for ebike frames. The system is fully integraded

As it's fully integrated I suspect you may be stuffed, it's a waste, such a shame. If you post pictures of the bike (no idea what IGO is) it's possible someone may see a way through.

The answer depends on which one you have. Igo made many different ones. In all probability, you may be able to get the bike going very easily, but we can't advise without knowing what you have.
