Well that's good to hear, I wouldn't be concerned with a steel fork and a small torque motor just thought Ti is a bit 'softer' and it could happen.

Really good job done there, were you ever worried that the hub motor may spin out of the titanium front fork without a torque arm fitted?....that's the only thing putting me off fitting a titanium fork to my brommie.

I think it all depends on the terrain you ride whether you really need hydraulic disks, I have a lot of hills that let you pick up speed very fast & with the extra weight I wouldn't be without it (just have one on the front, normal V on the back) Using a Shimano M596 which I prefer to Hayes...

I'm looking a Lipo possibly to replace my duff bottle battery, how do you check while riding that you haven't over discharged them?

I've had a look at the cells I have & think they are 2600 mah (10.8 v 5200mah 6 cell laptop pk) so looks like i'd have to do the whole lot, quite a bit bigger project than I was hoping. I may still have a go(I have enough cells) but get something else in the meantime to get me up & running...

Ah that's just what I needed THX, must have missed it on a search through. Does seem pretty involved but could be well worth giving it a go as I have some new laptop cells which will fit. What sort of soldering iron power do you use? as I have a very small one which probably wont be upto the job.

Can I ask about your thoughts about BMS battery, were they quick, were shipping battery packs OK, did you get charged import/customs fees. I like the stuff they supply but never dealt with them personally.

Looks very nice job, good choice going for sus fork IMO, I made that mistake & spent quite a bit of time changing it out, gives much better ride with the extra weight, no where near as harsh.

Thx for the reply d8veh, checked again on (B-) (its one of the yellow wires on this pack) to (B+) and that gives 36.5v, all the others are the same as before. Not sure about the discharge rate, sorry.
