    No you can’t ever have too many. Oh ok interesting that yours feels fine. Well it’s booked in this Saturday for a health check so I will mention it and see what they say. I have a feeling from all the other comments that it is just normal but we will see and I will post an update

    Ok that’s great thanks for letting me know. I did think that there surely couldn’t be anything wrong with it but just also thought I’m sure it’s not right, if that makes sense. Well thanks for the advice all your lots knowledge is unreal and I knew I had an answer within the hour

    Thank you very much. what’s a kt system? yes I think I’ll ring giant tomorrow and see if I can pop it down this weekend! It’s no big deal but just isn’t something I was really expecting from a brand new bike. Thanks a lot for your advice though I really appreciate it

    So yes the other 3 wires do not need to be used as they are only used for the lights on the old throttle to indicate the battery level.

    Yes the other 3 wires are for the LED’s, One wire for each light and and also the red ( positive ) wire was used on the Circuit board to power the lights. Hope this helps

    Problem solved. I done exactly what you said. Marked the magnets and swapped them round. Just put it on and it works a treat. Thank you so so much for all your time and help finally I can stop pulling my hair out. Thank you all very much

    Right sorry for the constant messages. So I’ve managed to get the second throttle apart without braking it I will add a couple of pictures. Now the magnets in the throttle itself seem to be the same size so it is these I need to change or is it the the pick up in the housing that needs taking...

    Sooo, just tried to take the throttle apart and it all snapped and broke apart, arghhhhhh! Well I’ve still got 2 to break so might try another one. Is there any videos on how to take them apart or is it just possible to buy a proper powabyke throttle that I can just wire up and go? Thank you...
