Uprated Hub Motor for Bultaco Brinco R

Was wondering if anyone has experience of hub motors. I have a Brinco R, great bike really well specced with a 2kw motor. I have permission from a local land owner to use the bike on areas of their land so I can really let the bike rip. So was wondering if I could stick a 3 or 4kw motor onto the...

    Bultaco Brinco

I now own one - I have ridden MX and Supermotos for years - I like the Throttle and far prefer it to a pedelec. So for me, it's very easy and familiar to use a throttle, it's what attracted me to the bike in the first place. I can understand if you are not used to a throttle, then it may feel...

    Bultaco Brinco

I found this as well - will be buying a Brinco soon. Could you give me more info on what throttle body you suggest? Cheers

Could Strava be used to catch the dongled?

My 690SMC is a road bike, would never take it off road - I love it too much. Have owned various dirtbikes, EXC450, EXCF250, SXF250, SX125 to name a few - I know the laws and where riding off road is tolerated by the police in my locality. I also used to go regularly to MX tracks but a major...

Could Strava be used to catch the dongled?

Yeah, my bike is road legal and insured, but take a look at how KTM are marketing them: "LIMITLESS POSSIBILITIES" The bikes are not the problem, the current laws are the issue. When the Brinco is on Eco mode it is restricted to under 15mph which I understand is a road legal speed?

Could Strava be used to catch the dongled?

I own A KTM Freeride E, was one of the first to buy one last year. Why did I buy it? Because I wanted a quiet bike I could get away with riding in sensitive areas - why else would you buy one? The range isn't long enough to use for Enduro nor is it viable to use at an MX track. Anyone I know who...

Been testing one for a week and love it - looking to buy. Where are you based and how much you looking for?

    Bultaco Brinco

I have been testing a Brinco for a week - as a former MX/Dirtbike rider I like it a lot. The fact the throttle is independent of the drivetrain is a big deal for me. I tried a Haibike but the Pedelec just doesn't do it for me - I want power when I am not pedalling so I can slide round corners...
