    finally managed a proper run on the bike yesterday since installing the throttle (time poor) - can't belive how much it transforms the bike - took it down the farm track to the village last night and just coasted over the sections where it's best to stand up and not peddle... fantastic... cheers...

    many thanks :) Thanks for that flecc, the red--> brown etc was spot on - all works now :) haven't had a chance to test it as by the time i'd finally managed to get the handle grips back on and the grommit on the bike frame it was too late for a play but it all works as i would expect it...

    well i spent the last hour fishing.... the 3 pin terminal was the last catch (typrical) but now i'm stuck I have the 3 pin - black green brown (behind the pink and yellow (this goes to the brake if you're intrested)) BUT the throttle has red ,balck and white - anyone idea what...

    thanks for the info alban/flecc. and yeah the photo is ripped from EVlabs. reckon i'll go for a Powerpedals throttle - at least i know that it'll work (am all very new to this) and excellent news about the 3 wire connector - that makes life a lot eaiser :) next is cruise control ;)

    all round bike/conversion for uphill commute and rough farm tracks?

    Many thanks for the info. have just taken delivery of a Bighit - hopefully will get to try it out over the weekend ready for my first *ahem* trial commute next week :) quit ciggies a couple of months ago (this is my sweetener to stay off em especially as i can't afford jack now - lol)
