I have three electric bikes: an aluminium Cannondale road bike, a Pearson MTB and a Torq. The ordinary bikes are powered by Heinzmann 36v Nimh, the Torq is 37v Lithium. I bought the Torq last summer in the expectation that it would be as good if not better than my other bikes. I did so on...

A to B Quite a few members refer to A to B mag from time to time giving the magazine very good publicity. Looking at the latest issue i do not see any reference to the Pedelecs site. A mention could draw in more interested riders. PeterE

There is no difficulty fitting a Heinzmann front hub to a suspension MTB providing the suspension unit is one that will take a disc brake. Bit of filing involved and the disc brake fitting is used for the reaction arm.

When fitting Hydraulic brakes to the Torq I had to fit new brake levers. I cut the electric cut-offs - they seem to be an unnessary safety device given the strong spring of the throttle return. With the hydraulics I still get some brake judder which suggests there is a design flaw somwhere,
