Totally agree. I haven't even thought of joining a club yet. I bought my e-bike to replace a second car, and to get some exercise. I actually enjoy riding on my own, enjoying the quiet a beauty of the countryside.

I think you can judge how the battery is doing by how far the voltage falls when delivering full power, say, going up a hill. I could be wrong, others can comment/correct.

Do any of these options let you plan a route minimising hill climbs?
