    I hear you can get more speed/power from the Bafang, but changing the computer wheel size entry from say 26" to 18", so the motor turns a 26" wheel at the speed of a 18" wheel fooling the system giving you more power and speed.

    I Know I am seriously considering upgrading my Al frame Marin with a Pedelec kit for commuting to work. I used to easily do 9 miles in 35 min at my fittest. Now i live 18.5 miles from work an have to buy a £1900.00 season ticket to get in...but i think with the advances in pedelec technology...

    How on earth does he get away with this?

    I'd be happy to have a consistent 20 mph speed over say a 18 mile commute with out getting too exhausted to work with in 1 hour or so travel time, and then cycle back home again at the end of the day....saving on buying a £1900.00 Southern Rail Season ticket.
