2nd battery returned and received a full refund.... I had 11 months out of the first battery so lucky it was under 12 months to get my money back and that there are some sellers doing genuine Yamaha 500 batteries for about £600.... Got one now so non-genuine is over for me.

After almost 12 months the Samsung cell battery gave up taking a charge... Purchased through All Batteries in the UK through Amazon so had the return done through them... All Batteries were slow to reply and eventually sent a return label after Amazon having to step in... 2 weeks later they...

Just got the NX Li Ion 36v 13Ah 468w Yamaha battery from Amazon and it is way more efficient in the real world than the 400w with the maths saying by 17%... Also, I can now sometimes carry the other one as a spare for long journeys... Early days but so far impressed and looking forward to some...

Took it on a shakedown today and all good.... The crank runs way smoother and I could tell the pedal strokes were more efficent...

Bike sorted by my mechanic.... The bottom bracket bearing is now obsolete/rare and it incorporates and o-ring.... He ordered the same size and lithium greased it and internals good and proper and all good.... Bearings £17.00 and labour £25.00.
