    Yes thanks it has a throttle that will move the bike at 4mph but not enough to make a difference on a steep slope. I can ride the bike up two sections of the track but there is a third which is the steepest and longest.

    Hi, Vivien here- wakened up after winter! Can I have some bog standard advice on getting up a half mile steep slope with sharp bends on a Volt Pulse?. At present I treat it in stages because I can't keep up the necessary speed on sharp bends. But this means hill starts 3 times on the way up...

    Several positive suggestions here for specific bikes that would meet your needs. The most important thing is to enjoy riding your bike, which will motivate you to keep riding it. And gradually you'll become fitter and want to stay active. Plus at your age youve plenty of cycling years ahead of you.
