Excellent experiment. The lith battery blocks in drills and other electric devices id been thinking on. Actually i still have it. The weight of battery is insane. Id thought of buying those battery blocs. I intend to chop the back end to take a fat wheel maybe! Have a look at this

Understand what youre saying. I dont think the battery is an issue unless i dont intend to have an electric bike. The frame is dead but i always knew that. I thank everyone for their input.

Im beginning to think the same. i paid £50 for it so no real damage. i dont know if existing battery works. it has a kettle plug.

maybe sort a battery first. cant live with 12 kg lead acid!

Ive never come across a brake like this before. On a Powabyke i bought. One rear cog. Not sure of model but clearly a commuter i think.
