Charging Mobile from Bosch Nyon Display

Has anyone had any luck charging their mobile phone front the micro USB port on the Bosch Nyon. I have a micro USB to USB-C cable, but is does not charge the phone, it does say device connected. Is there a specific cable type required? As anyone had any luck with micro USB to micro USB?

Ezee Torq, not working for sale.

Hi All, I've popped my Ezee Torq back on ebay for spares. I did pull it off sale last time, because I managed to fix it. However it has gone wrong again, so I promise it will now stay on ebay until sold! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/-/111764061812? Starting bid £1

I currently have an Ezee Torq, Mk1 looking to replace

I currently own a Mk1 Ezee Torq, which has gone wrong again. I love the bike and have travelled many miles on it (mainly errands in my local community, not commuting etc). However to be honest, I'm fed up with repairing it. So the big question is what do I replace it with? My torq is...

Ezee Torq, water damage, repair advise?

Thanks everyone for all your help. I have a mate who is an Ex-TV repairman, so he is going to attempt to replace the FET for me. Ian

Ezee Torq, water damage, repair advise?

Hi All I unfortunately have to report, I've blown up a FET in the new controller. I'm not sure how it happened, I'm 99.9% sure there is nothing wrong with my motor and I was gentle with the throttle whilst testing. I took the cover off the motor and holding the spindle central, I...

Ezee Torq, water damage, repair advise?

Flecc, thanks. I had my wiring combination written down from my old controller, which doesn't work. I have now tried every combination of power leads, hence why I was looking at the possibility that the motor is running backwards (but I would have thought swapping the phase of the power leads...

Ezee Torq, water damage, repair advise?

Thank you, although I have tried every permutation of motor phase wires, which is why I thought d8veh's post made sense.

Ezee Torq, water damage, repair advise?

Hmm, interesting, I have just tried the 6 combinations of power wiring and two of them sounded like the motor was running backwards. I can see your logic of the hall leads also having 6 combinations, hence 6 x 6 = 36, so I guess I need to get testing. Presumably starting with one of the power...

Ezee Torq, water damage, repair advise?

Hi all I recently had this misfortune to inadvertently cycle into some water up to my knees on my Ezee Torq. As you can imagine the bike stopped. I turned off the power and dried everything out by dismantling the controller, battery and motor. I suspected the controller was damaged and hence...

    Source for Ezee connectors

John That would be great, thanks, I need two sets. I ordered the controller from you today, so I guess unfortunately you have already put it in the post, to avoid another package? Thanks in advance. Regards Ian

    Source for Ezee connectors

Hi All Does anyone know a source for the in-line multi-way connectors that Ezee use? I'm specifically thinking of the 5 pin Hall Effect sense lead connectors. Ian

    Triggering traffic lights

I've just ordered a Neodymium one from Ebay, so I'll let you know if it works. I certainly hope it will trigger the right turn at West Croydon, so I don't have to keep waiting for a bus or tram to turn up behind me. (Although I don't think that set have an inductive loop!!! I'll have a look...

    Triggering traffic lights

Not specifically an electric bike issue, but still relevant. I read on an American website that it is a good idea to place a couple of strong magnets under your bottom bracket. The idea is that when you stop at traffic lights the inductive loop in the road is unable to detect a bicycle due...

    My Torq has died

Unfortunately I am guilty of not paying attention to the Datasheet until I had recieved the first hall sensor, hence ordeing the switching one later!!!! Thanks for the tip re the connectors, that's exactly the sort of thing I was looking for, it will make removing the front wheel much easier

    Ezee Li-polymer advice

The consensus of opinion on the forums tends to be to ignore the battery indicators and rely on getting to know the range of your machine. If you do that I would guess that after a few further charge / discharge cycles (excuse the pun) I am sure the range will increase to that of the old...
