for sale KALKHOFF AGATTU IMPULSE 2.0

The bike is in immaculate condition. I bought it last year from 50 Cycles but have only done 72 miles on it. I have finally, very reluctantly. had to recognise that at the age of 83 things aint what they used to be and that my cycling days are over. So this lovely machine deserves a new owner...

    STUPID QUESTION

Thank you all - especially the imaginative suggestions - but it turns out that on this model the frame number is on the seat post behind the battery. So with battery lifted out of the way I have been able to read it by merely leaning forward. A relief!!

    KALKHOFF IMPULSE 2 NO GO

I have been away for under 3 weeks. Before I went all was fine. Battery about 60% charged, When I came to take it out today nothing happened when I pressed the on switch for the display. No useful suggestions in the troubleshooting section of the manual. Any ideas please?

    Flevobike e orca

The reason I ask is that one of my sons tells me he is thinking about getting an assisted version and I can't find many details. He rides recumbent bikes which he has to have adapted because he only has one arm. ( the other one got chewed off by a tiger - but that's another story). Currently he...

    Yet another journalist......

I agree Flecc. It is all in those two words" culture" and "attitude". The culture is so ingrained, the attitude negative where it is not hostile. Look at the old newsreels. They poured out of the factory gates in their hundreds - on bicycles. Well the working classes did because they couldn't...

No doubt because they live in a cycle friendly country and have an infrastructure to go with that - and we don't.

Yes it was a lovely bike and it and I did many miles together both up north in this country and in Extremadura Spain. More reliable cycling weather out there!

    Battery Conditioning

Flecc said that as well I recall. But I have just looked at the latest 2014 manual for the Kalkh0ff Agattu Impulse and is says that the battery should be discharged fully the first three time to get best long term performance. Comments please

    batribike

I use the trike for shopping but I have been out on country roads with the folder. It does the job well . My only criticism would be that the gearing is far too low. In practice I put it in top and leave it there. With six levels of assistance it's all you need and it flattens out the hills no...

    batribike

I have two of them for past 18 months: the folder and the trike. Since I am 82 I use them like disabled scooters but they are cheaper, quicker, easier and faster. Purchase was easy and any queries handled promptly and efficiently both at time of purchase and since. Have had no problems with...
