100A controllers - too much ?

Came across this rather amusing vid on Youtube. These guys are running a 160A controller limited to 100A on a Kona Stinky with 24" wheels.

The hilarious test results suggest it may be a bit too much !

Hi I recognise the street in banbury

By the size off the battery fairly short range also the gearing through the crank drive is two low
No top end also 24 inch wheels dont help with the gearing


I think we will get similar thing with the new 750 watt crank drive we will have soon

Blimey, I cringed every time one of the riders opened up the throttle.

Don't think they'll sell too well then, LOL.

This video really is a bad advert for those wanting a little bit extra power. Bet Tillson's loving it.

That's "Knoxie" up in Banbury. He has been building such machines for a good many years now.
