bike mirrors

Was thinking of getting bike mirrors, seen these on e bay, Winkku mirror and indicator, any one know if they are any good. also someone asked about battery chargers a bit back, seen these,genuine sans/modiary 24/ 36 v li-on battery chargers, new may be a help to someone

I would say that my bike mirror is easily the best thing I've bought for safety and I must glance at it every 15 seconds to see what idiot drivers are up to. I've even changed the right handlebar grip on my new Cyclotricity Stealth to accommodate the mirror because I can't ride without it.

We use this onw, which is similar. It has a diuble hinge so you can fold it inwards to get through narrow gaps or hide it from loose fingers when you park it somewhere.

The Blackburn also folds forwards or backwards.

How does the Zefal tighten inside the handlebar?

Forget Winkku. I had them a couple of years ago on both my and my wife's bike Useless! would also break off. They are just too heavy with the batteries in, rattle and the contacts are prone to the vibration of bumpy roads. they are just a gimmick. I use Zefal cyclop bar end mirrors on both bikes. Work fine and don't feel happy cycling without a mirror. Like to know what's behind. Had two broken off by passing cars!!!

I have one of these, I have found it to be sturdy and reliable, and it folds in on itself.

I use the Blackburn and it is excellent. No vibration which is the problem with most mirrors and a clear view

Totally brilliant - I filed a little groove in the bracket, so the mirror can swing further out. They are a reasonable size, which is brilliant for the roads I ride - lots of corners and hills in 60 MPH zones, so cars don't sneak up on me too much.
