By using superior military force that the EU doesn't possess?
Tell me what is impressive about that, or even to be admired.
Only the simple minded use military force when they could negotiate.
Sorry but bullying by any means in not in any way admirable, and lets face it Putin has the blood of innocents on his hands, in Syria and lots of other places doesn't he?
The UKIP was formed for a single purpose which they have achieved and they have no further reason to exist.
The referendum is over, they should get over it, move on and find useful work, as they are so fond of telling everyone else.
UKIPs role is only just starting. Having forced the referendum (thank you Sir Nigel), and won, they now are charged with the duty of ensuring that the will of the people is carried through.

If May starts back tracking, UKIP will be there to whip up a pooh storm for her and to side swipe her with the loss of a chunk of votes. Something they can't afford with such a slim majority. UKIP actually hold quite a bit of power and can inflict consequences if there is any attempt at undermining democracy over BREXIT.

When you consider Labour and Conservative displays of treachery and contempt for the public, UKIP are positioning themselves nicely as a party of transparency and integrity. Look how transparent and democratic their leadership contest has been in contrast to Labour or the Conservatives. The Lib-Dens are a spent force, Clegg saw to that for them. Don't think anyone will ever trust them again.

Does anyone know what happened to Danny Alexander? Did he go back to promoting Sugar Puffs breakfast cereal of did he move into banking where the cronies he pretended to despise are now looking after him?

lovely rhetoric, still think Nige would love you on board as a "script writer". however, its the economy stupid. brexit is bad, in practice. as it unravels the part of the electorate without the unsavoury BNP/Nige sentiments will have a change of heart. To paraphrase, you cannot polish a xenophobic fraudulent Nige.

Oh dear, you are having difficulty again. Nigel was the leader of UKIP, not BNP. If you look closely at the letters, you will see four in UKIP, but only three in BNP. Also each letter is quite different in shape and sound. It's a little trick called reading. Give it a go, it can be fun.

Farage is a fine man worthy of a knighood. He has endured some vile smearing but had the strength of character to dismiss the perpetrators for the worthless scum bags that they are and to carry on to a BREXIT victory. Now Ms James will continue to hold the government to their obligation and the voting public will decide whether May is doing a satisfactory job. If she isn't, expect to see UKIP's magnificent 12% vote share climb.

Again look at Labour, Libs and Coservative. What a contemptible and treacherous public display they have put on. Conversely the UKIP leadership campaign reflects their values, democracy and transparency and honesty. All seemingly alien concepts to the left wing, and they shall pay a heavy price.

Seriously the UKIP nead a new identity in order to appeal to the voters that are likely to identify with them.
Bearing in mind the similarities with it's role model, the now disappeared National Front, the name National Affront springs to mind.
UKIP are in fact a party that has done more damage to the country both home and abroad than any other in our History,
Sadly they appeal to a section of the voting public that lacks the intelligence to see both what they are, and what they stand for.

About sums it up:

"prime ministers and presidents were left to cruise aimlessly up and down the Danube"

http://www.cruisemapper.com/news/1518-lack-of-water-in-danube-ruins-eu-leaders-cruise-plans
I'll buy it, about sums what up? Climate Change is real perhaps?
That's the only association that springs to mid, as the meeting still went ahead, didn't it.
Or was this a sort of "Daily Express" style attempt to portray their incompetence, like King Canute, to alter the flow of water?
The EU is to blame as usual of course.
My goodness time must be getting hard for pro Brexit propaganda.

Daily Mail this morning
"
Brexit to start in January: European Council president reveals that Theresa May told him the date she will trigger Article 50 - but warns he will NOT compromise on freedom of movement
  • EU leaders have been told that Brexit negotiations will start early next year
  • Donald Tusk claims PM Theresa May said she trigger Article 50 by 2017
  • The negotiations next year would pave the way for Britain to leave by 2019
At last?
Hang on a minute
"The Prime Minister has informed them it is ‘quite likely’ she will be ready to invoke Article 50 in either January or February. It would pave the way for Britain to have left by 2019."
Oh.....quite likely....yes, sure......:(

No, UKIP don't require a new identity. They show core values of integrity which appeal and the public know who they are. UKIP stands for decency and democracy and if you like that, you vote for them. If you oppose democracy you vote Conservative. If you loath democracy with burning passion, you vote for one of the more left wing parties.

There is no correlation whatsoever between UKIP and the BNP or The National Front. I know you want there to be, so you can oppose democracy and smear them. I've got news for you, it isn't going to work. People have seen through that one and it's pathetic.

You've got to face it, UKIP forced the referendum, democracy decided we are leaving the EU, and UKIP will make sure it's delivered. End of.

tillson, I guess you must have got your silly head on to keep writing these joke contributions, as I know you to be far too intelligent to believe that Farage is anything other than a charlatan.
He worked with and was encouraged by the reactionary section of the Tory Party to induce Cameron into making a big mistake, in offering a referendum using a technique little better than blackmail over the loss of Tory Votes.
That is the single thing that he actually did, nothing more or less.
Forty odd years of Government lies about the EU and their about face to want to remain in it did the damage to the remain vote, plus the public being misled with a pack of lies and now broken promises by Boris and Gove.
And far from being a long term Brexit fan, when asked for his support by Cameron, Boris dithered than came down on the side of Brexit saying it was the "Hardest decision he had to make in his life." some commitment eh?
He had his eye on Cameron's job!
As to no correlation,of UKIP and BNP that is nonsense and you know it.
Here is a little something on the UKIP Chairman for instance

Just a claim? do you really believe that?
Great fun you are having, and stimulating to debate, but let's not imagine there is even a grain of truth in your claims about the UKIP.
I remind you the referendum was advisory only
Parliament is democratically elected and not obliged to abide by the result (though I hope they will, in order to see the result of this mad experiment in mob rule)

Diane James won with 8,451 votes out of about 35,000 members entitled to vote. The LibDems have about 70,000 and SNP 120,000 out of the smaller parties. I accept that UKIP also gets the support of far right groups but I don't think its support will ever grow above 8% of the population.

A further point to remember about the UKIP is that they went as MEPs to the European Parliament with the sole intention of damaging it and our reputation with it and negotiating in our interests was never on their agenda.

In fact if we had simply sent a group of Drunken and aggressive football hooligans there we may well have actually done no worse.

Apart from living on expenses they had the worst attendance records of any MEPS and actually caused harm to the interests of this country every time they went there.
It is a sign of how tolerant that the EU Parliament is that Farage was ever allowed to speak at all, any normal Parliament would have thrown the idiot out on his ear, until he learned to show some manners.
If he had been elected as an MP the speaker would have suspended him on his first appearance.

There is a word for people like that
TRAITORS
They were elected to serve us and simply served themselves and unseen Paymasters.

The fact that you find it necessary to provide evidence from Farage's school days says it all really. When no evidence exists, find something he did or said as a child. Classic left wing tactic.

There was and still is an appetite amongst the public to quit the EU. The referendum proved that appetite existed in about half of those who could be bothered to vote. I don't care about those who couldn't be bothered, it is their fault for not voting.

Labour, Conservative and Libs were never in a million years going to offer the public the chance of a democratic decision over our future in the EU. UKIP / Farage offered this chance and people wanted to have their say. So strong and deeply rooted, over at least a decade, was this desire that Cameron knew that unless he gave the population what they wanted they would vote for a party which did offer them a referendum, UKIP.

It's a simple democratic process, not blackmail. People choose to vote for the things they want and what political parties offer. A referendum was on the UKIP manifesto in the same way that other things appear on manifestos. If you like it, you vote for it, if you don't like it, you vote for another party. That's the way it works. Again calling this blackmail illustrates the readiness with which left wing supporters are ready to smear and cheat the system.

Of course there was no talk of advisory referendums until it was a big fat loss for remain. That is quite possibly the case, but to ignore the result and rely on this newly disclosed post result rule will be suicidal. Trust in politicians is low, trust in political parties is low, contempt for both is high. If May does not go for hard BREXIT she and the Tories will join Labour as being unelectable. People are angry at Cameron's insulting attempt to sell us his EU deal, so trust is rock bottom, trying to sell them the advisory line is going nowhere but the UKIP vote count.

Seriously, Farage has conducted himself with restraint and dignity in the face of awfull smears against him and his family made by some the most vile and worthless wastes of bodily tissue on the plant. Most of it left wing sewage hell bent on the destruction of democracy.

The letters exist, the Bill introducing the act of Parliament clearly states the referendum is advisory only....but you didn't bother to read it did you?

And 4% is not a big fat loss for remain, no matter which way you present it.
It may have grown by now, or equally it may have vanished completely
I suspect that you need to listen more carefully to the tone of his speeches in future as they are NEVER respectful, and frankly no one needs to smear this man, there is more than enough evidence to condemn him, he has even tried shrugging it off rather than deny it.

I believe it is time to put this mad experiment to the test, it will be shall we say "Enlightening"
By the way you are beginning to sound like a plant from the Daily Express with excessive remarks like this
"made by some the most vile and worthless wastes of bodily tissue on the plant. Most of it left wing sewage hell bent on the destruction of democracy."
Especially for someone allegedly against prejudice, or is it a case that you are prepared to make an exception in your own case.

The man Farage is a genius. I truly admire him.

Pick out the racism in this short compilation. You won't be able to of course, because there is none. Just the uncomfortable truth for left wing idiots to deal with in the only way they know how, to smear.

Good luck for the future Farage, you have served the United Kingdom well.

Advisory / non-advisory / small margins, the choice remains for the PM, either do it or face political suicide at the next election. What do you think she will do? I know and I'm not worried.

Cling to the "it was only advisory" if you like. Mrs May knows she has no choice. They sold us the referendum.

UKIP is for all intent and purpose, a single issue party. When it tries to metamorphose into a mainstream party, its leadership prompty starts ripping into each other. It may survive after brexit or may not, I do hope it doesn't.
The same as Blair
Superficially yes. There is a big difference, Blair is or tries to be PC whereas Farage and UKIP are not.
