With a couple of decent batteries on board got me wondering about using one of my amateur radios on the hf bands whilst parked up mobile to transmit.
Would need to drop the volts down to around 12V (slightly higher would be good) Anyone on the site have a amateur radio licence and have tried it? suppose I could probably build something but there must be something done commercially. Wouldn`t be able to run very high power but out in the countryside in the clear should work quite well away from general interference.
