First Christmas Carol Singer

I suppose they reckoned that being within one month from the big day made it ok.
Certainly the first time I've heard of a November carol singer, but can we really blame them? The shops and TV advertising start flogging Xmas in early October, hot cross buns appear in January and easter eggs show up in February. Summer holidays are flogged from autumn of the previous year, so perhaps it's little wonder a youngster might think 28 days before Xmas acceptable.
No such problem in my area though, the last carol singers I had call were at least five years ago.
