Not entirely an ebike, but great value for money (£250 at this moment) for somebody looking for a bike to convert. Add conversion kit for £350 and you can get great entry level eMTB.

I haven't seen a decent bike at this price level for a long time.

What's a good kit to pair with the bike?

The GT Agressor will take a front hub, rear hub or mid motor (crank drive).
Crank drive is best for a sportier ride, hub drive is best for lazy cruising.
The choice depends on your weight and how hilly where you live. If you weigh more than 15 stone or live in a very hilly place, you'll need a high torque motor such as my DWG22C rear hub kit or BBS01ET kit.

Price went up to £330. At this price level Vitus Nucleus 27 VR is a better value for money IMO.

Use code EXTRA15 to bring it down to £340
