can anyone recommend a repairer of these?
battery keeps shutting down having trolled the forums i'm thinking BMS but i'm a bit of a novice in electrics.

What motor are you running from it? It may be shutting down because the BMS is not rated high enough.

bafang 750w 48v
its the battery for sure as it shuts down even when its not on the bike
and i stuck the mrs battery on the bike and it didnt shut down

Jimmy at Insat has a good rep. for recelling batteries and I'm sure he carries out repairs also.
