Help: Ebco UCL 30 battery error?

Hi, wondering if anyone can help me.

I have an EBCO UCL-30 that's causing me trouble, it worked perfectly yesterday but after coming off charge this morning it doesn't seem to be sending any power to the motor. The indicator on the battery shows full charge but the display shows no charge bars just a flashing battery/icon above where the battery bar would normally be.

Im stumped on how to fix this

The only thing I can suggest is to remove the battery, then press the power button on the LCD. You'll probably see the LCD light up, then go dim. Press the power button again, just to make sure that all the power is gone. Wait 10 seconds, then reconnect the battery and switch on to see if it re-initialises correctly.

Thanks for the suggestion, Ive tried this and again after reading this but sadly it had no effect

Looking like a trip to the bike shop on Monday >.<

Did you manage to rectify this? Same happened to me this morning after 2.5 years. Bike shop suggests a a motor service (tested all electrics and seems fine) but no guarantee this will fix problem. Any ideas or advice greatfully received.
