Hello Folks, not been on here for a while but have been happily riding a fair bit.
My now rather battered Kalkhoff has just stopped assisting me, it has the dreaded Impulse 2 motor but I don't think that's the problem. I'd done around 4,800 miles when I went over a bump and the mile count reset to zero seemingly irretrievably, I've done another 700+ miles since so well over 5,500 miles.
Unfortunately now it's not registering any speed and so doesn't give me any assistance. Last time this happened the little magnet sensor thingy on the rear spokes had just got misaligned and I put it back and all was good. This time though that trick is not working and it's a rather heavy machine to huff up hills without assistance. The display is working it just reads 0mph all the time.
Anything else simple I should be checking before I seek proffessional help....?
