Imagine a 4P10S battery that gives 20 Ah and 40 Amp discharge... I have just calculated the price for 5P12S and that gives you a 25 Ah 44.4v battery for 387 € + postage - 1110 Wh at my present strength = 190 km range. Even on my lazy days 150 odd km

I think I would stick to 20 Ah and around 3 kg, 20 Amp discharge is not quite enough in my hilly area. It isn't a revolution, just an evolution, but I can't see a future for the 18650 cell in a pedelec battery with these cells coming to market.
