Opening a new Q128?

I wondering if there is any benefit to be had (or downsides to be avoided) by opening a new Q128?

Possible benefits:
  • It may be easier to open it now than later; and if I lubricate the big thread now with some waterproof grease or anti-seize compound it might make it easier if I have to open it later?
  • I could check and if necessary re-grease the bearings and gears.
  • Other?
Possible downsides?

Thanks.

Don't fix what isn't broken. There's no known issues with lubrication, except the free-wheel pawls in the cassette spline, but IIRC, that comes off from the outside anyway. They're not to bad to get apart when they've been used - just apply a bit of heat to the hub.
