PAS disk replacement

Hi. can anyone tell me what effect fitting a magnet disk to the pedal sensor with a different number of magnets would be. The disk fitted has 6 magnets and is pretty battered, most of the replacement disks on e-bay have 8 or 12 magnets. Will the work on my system and if so what difference would it make?

8-magnet disc gives 25% quicker startup time compared to 6-magnet disc. If If you are replacing a pedal sensor, left side pedal sensors are even better with 12 magnets and easy replacement.

Thanks for the fast reply, will the extra magnets in a 12 disk affect the amount of assistance or not?
