Help! Programming bafang motor with a Mac

Is anyone familiar with using the usb connector to adjust the settings on a bafang BBS01 via a Mac or iPhone rather than a windows or android phone ?

This ^^^. I gave up trying to find a non-faffy way of getting it to work. Dug out an old Android phone and installed the ‘Speeed’ app. Far easier, just check system specs for the app against the version of Android you’re running.
