Hi all,

Thanks for a great forum. I have a kalkhoff pro connect with the Panasonic mid drive s-pedelec 26v motor and a spare battery.

Now I am considering buying an electric inflatable boat with a 150 watt motor. The motor is 12v. Given that I have a transformer from 26v to 12v, do you think my spare Panasonic battery could handle this motor well?

Batteries are expensive. Being able to use them for several purposes would be awesome:)

If it is a transformer it will only convert AC voltage, not the DC voltage from the Panasonic battery. Only an electronic or electro-mechanical converter can do that.

If you do have the right converter, allowing for efficiency loss you should be able to run a 150 watt motor using around 8 amps current draw.
