Just to put this one to bed..... All fixed now. I found a retired engineer who machined a new gear (and a spare) and fitted it and put it all back together for £200 - all works perfect, albeit, the motor is a bit noisier. Happy days....

Yeah, the nylon part - just one of them.

Yeah, the nylon helical planetary gear has sheared.... same problem as the befang motors. Apparently this is a Dapu motor..... although it looks nothing like one!

Hi. I have a 7 month old BH Atom Lynx 5.5 2019 that I purchased from 50 Cycles in Loughborough. Unfortunately, they appear to have totally gone and my engine is broken. I have had no support from BH in Spain and struggling to get anywhere. It was suggested by 'Dewey' on 'the electric bike...
