I use hot glue inside my motors. The trouble with high strength glue is it’s too permanent, so if a hall sensor needs changing in the future it’s a real pain and you risk damaging the insulation on the windings trying to get it off.

There should be more markings on the outside of the case that show the model code. The printing on the halls pcb suggests it’s a Bafang SWX.

My guess is your motor is getting hot and the hall sensors are shutting down. Then they start working again when they have cooled down. At that kind of power you should really be monitoring your motor temperature.

It looks to me that someone has tried to fit the wrong gear set to it. Can you post a photo of the engraving on the motor cover?

I used to have an upright bike rack mounted on the wall in my garage. Not sure if the OP is trying to do this or mount it on their car. If it’s in the garage then a hoist would be useful. If on the back of a car then that’s more problematic.
