How about a Raleigh Motus either direct from Raleigh or from one of its dealers. You choose either a derailleur or hub gear depending upon your preference and there are plenty of colour options as well. It isn’t cheap, but it has high quality components.

Error 24 on a KD58C display is hall sensor abnormality. So either the hall sensor connector isn’t making proper contact or there is an actual problem with the motor hall sensors. Here is a link of the procedure to test the hall sensors: https://ebikes.ca/documents/HallSensorTestingFinal.pdf

You have got your multimeter set to 20 volts full scale. If you set it to 200 volts full scale you will get a voltage reading.
