Giant Quick E - EVO display problem

I've ridden all through this winter with no problems at all (except punctures). Mine is now at the Giant workshop now under warranty. I've covered 2000 miles since November and chewed through the chain and cassette already. If it's moisture getting in I'm sure silicon can prevent further issues.

Giant Quick E - EVO display problem

Hi all I have the same problem, switches off after 2 seconds, for me it's been relatively dry for the past month. Does a replacement display solve the problem? Anyone had the chain come off while going over bumps? The chain will jam in between the front chainring and motor cover, it's hard to...

    Creaky Giant Quick E

I've had my Giant Quick E hybrid bike since Oct last year and have covered 1k miles, it was dongled soon after delivery and since then it has developed a creaking when I pedal. It's more annoying than worrying and I'm fairly sure the plastic panels around the motor are flexing with the frame and...

    Ebike cassettes and chains

I'm interested to read this thread, I have a Giant Quick E hybrid bike for commutng, it's also dongles. I've clocked up 850 miles, all on the flat and gear 10 (11T) is starting to slip. That's quite soon, but I am pushing with assist all the time. I'm thinking of a bigger front chainring (from...

    Frustrating 15.5 limit

Only seen a couple my way and they weren't slow! I had to peddle 28mph to catch one, I asked about battery life at those speeds and that's what decided t for me.

    Frustrating 15.5 limit

I read this thread with interest, I am with the OP in which I have an ebike which is tuned to go faster. My bike is a tool to commute to work and that's all, the reason I have it is to make my journey quicker and easier. It's 18 miles each way and on a road bike I can do that in about 60 mins...

    Giant Road E+ 1 Dongle?

I have Sealskinz gloves but you're right, the windchill, especially yesterday is significant. I think the trick is to keep the body core warn so maintaining circulation to your extremities, I'm getting a headband or cap to hopefully help, and reduce the wind noise as well. Yes you can't flash...

    Giant Road E+ 1 Dongle?

Well my replacement speedbox has been fitted and I have clocked up around 700 miles commuting. I can sustain 25mph or so, which gets me to work in 50 mins. It's not effortless, but I'm not tired after 4 commutes a week so happy days

    Giant Road E+ 1 Dongle?

Hi Speed box arrived and I fitted it yesterday, it's true there is very little space to tuck the wires away without damage. Unfortunately the assist still stops at 15.5mph so am in correspondence with the supplier in Czech republic to find out what's wrong. I bought this bike as a tool to get...

    Giant Road E+ 1 Dongle?

I read this post with interest, I have just bought a Giant Quick E hybrid bike, with speedbox on order. My commute is 35 miles round trip on flat cycle path into Cambridge. I can manage about 60 or so minutes each way on a road bike but more than twice a week is tiring for me. So looking forward...

    Which tuning kit?

Hi Been watching this forum for a while so now coming to the surface. I have ordered a Giant Quick E hybrid bike, I want to tune it for use "On private land with owners permission". I can see a couple of options by Badass and Speedbox, has anyone had both and can tell me the merits of each? I'll...
