    'longwise' 36v 12a controller??

This controller has been officially placed in the 'too hard' basket :P Far too much time already spent on a piece of hardware that can be upgraded for under $50AU. The next project went a bit better, delta/wye switching on tonaro a mid drive motor fitted to trek hardtail frame. woohoo.... she...

    'longwise' 36v 12a controller??

Ok.. brown is the main power on switch... That gets me 5v at the hall sensor + Tried hooking up a throttle and feeding it back into green and the white, out of desperation :P No effect.. Controller says brake 'low level' so i was guessing that the white was going to be brake and leaving it...

Can I hang my bike up ?

Sorry to scare you, but good idea to be cautious. I have no idea really... but metal tends to warp over time and seems like a lot of load to put on a thin bike rim??? In the opposite direction of its normal loading too

Can I hang my bike up ?

Let us know how it goes... depends how tough the rim is and how heavy the bike is, how soft/wide the hook is.... I don't think i'd be game enough to try it for any length of time even without the batteries though

    'longwise' 36v 12a controller??

Hi there. Been struggling to find a wiring diagram/pinout for a controller i happened to pick up. from a 'longwise' scooter 36v 12a... is all i can find about it... Thought i might be able to figure it out as there's only 5 pins! apart from the battery/motor. Doing my head in now though... On...

    Wonky pedal

... but Alan... why miss out on the satisfaction of repairing something better than new. ;) I dunno how common stripping pedal threads is.... if its common enough.. One set of 2 taps and a handful of stainless steel coils replaces a whole heap of different length cranks for a bike mechanic to...

    Wonky pedal

Disclaimer! I haven't tried this before on bike pedals! but Working with cars... when threads get stripped in something made out of cast aluminium using something like 'thread inserts' in the link bellow (brand name helicoil, for automotive stuff) generally resulted in a thread that was stronger...

    Hello from Tasmania

Hello, I thought i was the only one ;) Yeah... the rear free wheels are only designed to handle so much... in its defence i only broke the rear one through being in a low gear on a grippy surface and really giving it all i could with the pedals from nearly stopped while carrying a load. The...

    Hello from Tasmania

Howdy, from the far south. Been into electric vehicles for a while now. Was riding an Tonaro/Aseako full suspension mid drive for about a year... The second time i broke the freewheel clutch in rear cassette, i decided that this design wasn't going to work for me.. Fitted the centre drive unit...
