    Steering head adjustment

Thanks for replying Mussels... My steering head was loose (fore and aft play) but my problem is, having read conflicting information on the internet, I'm not sure just how tight the head nut should be. I've already tried tightening the lower nut to a degree which seems excessive to me but...

    Pro Connect S Photos

Great photos of a great bike, John... thanks! One question if I may... how comfortable - or not! - do you find the seat and the riding position in general? Subjective I know, but I'd be interested in your opinion. Mike

    12V accessory socket?

Thanks for your reply Rog, which you must have posted as I was editing my op! Yes, a Dc-Dc converter would be the answer I guess, other than running the TomTom on its internal battery only (for a limited time!). BTW, does anyone out there use a motorcycle-type Nav unit on their e-bikes? Mike

    12V accessory socket?

Are there any e-bikes out there which come with a 12 V "Accessory" socket as standard? I have a TomTom Rider 2 navigation unit (from my motorcycling days) and I'd like to use it on the e-bike that I eventually decide to buy... of course the accessory socket would only play a small part in the...

    Giant Twist Freedom CS Review

Excellent, informative report, Fecn! Great photos too... thanks very much! You've introduced another possible contender to my own shortlist of e-bikes which at present consists of Kalkhoff (not sure which one yet) and Wisper. I live in northern Germany near Flensburg which is a wonderful...

    2009 Wisper 905 first impressions.

Mussels, thanks for the report on the 2009 Wisper 905 - which model do you have, btw? Were your problems with the earlier model related to off-road use in the main? I'm particularly interested in your report as I'm considering having a 905 (not sure which model yet) sent out to me in Germany...

Electric bike and trailer (for two dogs)

essexman and flecc... thank you both very much for the invaluable info. Just one more question before I make my decision regarding the bike - how do you think a Wisper 905 would fare in the towing stakes?

Electric bike and trailer (for two dogs)

John, thanks very much for your helpful reply! fleccc.... what can I say? Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to my query so comprehensibly! Yes, as you say, it's going to be a tall order towing two dogs efficiently with a Pedelec. However I should mention that Cara (the healthy...

Electric bike and trailer (for two dogs)

We have two dogs (combined weight approx 55 Kg), one of which is incapacitated by a leg disorder. My question is, does anyone have any recommendions for and/or experience of particular electric bicycles and trailers which may be best suited for towing both dogs? I realise that there's a big...

    Wisper in Germany?

This is my first post and I'd like to ask for some help, If I may. Does anyone know if Wisper bikes are distributed in Germany, particularly in Hamburg or Flensburg? My enquiries - including 'Googling' - have proved fruitless so far. I would like to test-ride one of these bikes in order to make...
