Thanks David, appreciate the response. I have dropped it off with Chris at Guildford Electric Bikes, today, who has been really helpful.

905SE Battery lock broken
I spoke to my dealer. He's great and offered help. Just wondered if others have had a similar issue with the lock on that model?

905SE Battery lock broken
hi there, the housing that holds the locking mechanism has broken. The plastic around some screws seems to have snapped. I’ve only had the bike for a month. Do you know how I go about getting it repaired / sorted? Thanks Matt

so, if you had up to £1k to spend on a ride to work scheme, what would you buy? Especially if your commute is hilly, 8-10 miles each way, you’re 6’2’’ and about 17 or 18 stone. Not too unfit though.- X-Ride by aerobike
Hi all, I’m a previous owner, along time ago, of a tailwind, which was fun until it completely gave up and the motor seized. Any, thinking about ride to work scheme and found this https://www.aero-tek.co.uk/aerobike can’t find any comments on here about it using the search field but wondered if anyone had any experience or views?- Schwinn Electric Tailwind motor issue
I've not been on this site for a long time (forgive me Father, for I have sinned), but I must say, it's been done up really nicely.- Schwinn Electric Tailwind motor issue
Hi there, I am hoping someone can kindly point me in the right dir ection. I have this Tailwind bike with a motor that no longer works. The front wheel no longer, freely goes backwards. It will only free wheel forwards. The battery charges just fine and seems to hold it's charge but the motor (which is on the front wheel, of course), no longer kicks in. I have been riding my very heavy bike to work and back without power and whilst that is probably good for my fitness, I would really like to try and find out where / how to get it fixed, replaced. Having searched via google, I am getting nowhere. I live in the Basingstoke, Hampshire area. thanks.- Lights (again, sorry)
In the end I got this one eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace which, for £5 is not bad but does not spread light at all, it spots right down. still VERY powerful and good to get yourself noticed then there's this one: eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace This one is fantastic! its spreads light nicely across the road and in pitch black, down country lanes e.t.c. it is the best torch I have ever had and for £20 you just can't go wrong. Both arrived the other day. I will, however, I think, purchase a great big crazy eye burning 3000 lumin muvva at some point. I think I saw one for about £30... thanks to everyone for their help and advise.- New Idea for Hi viz product - your ideas please.
Baaaah Humbug to the lot of you then. *turns head and sulks*- New Idea for Hi viz product - your ideas please.
I have an idea for a new hi viz clothing and accessory range of products.... Called something like 'Father of 2' Everyone could ride around with a line of hi viz text in massive writing on their back that reflects who they are responsible for. This could be either on the backs of their panniers or vests or whatever. I was going to mock one up but thought it might be too provocative on the roads. You know how car drivers can get sometimes ;-) but I thought that it might hit home... excuse the pun. What do you think? 'Mother of 1' 'Father of 3' 'I pay the bills' 'Just trying to live' Something like that. Can you think of any others? Let's have them...- Help - My pedelec is not working
what a fantastic story this is! What a great support forum. This is so impressive to read.- Cycling Poncho's & waterproof trousers
Hi All, I have done very little research online, to be honest but just looking about, I found this WATERPROOF REFLECTIVE CYCLE CAPE PONCHO SOWESTER | eBay what do you think? What are ponchos like to cycle with? DO they work? What do you think of this one? Can you suggest anything better? I think I like it because it is hi viz and has reflective stuff on it too. Can anyone suggest any decent waterproof trousers? I currently have some trousers and a rain jacket which are kind of al right but in a heavy shower and 30 minute commute, I always end up soggy in certain sections...- Lights (again, sorry)
Oh my! I think that might burn holes in the backs of car driver's heads. :-) Or is that the idea? - £1000 ride2work
