Hi i have done the above test and i get a reading of 4.67 between the red and black, at 20 on my multi meter and nothing between the black and the green(which is the white i guess in your instruction) i did test the other white wire which goes of on its own journey? and got the 4.67 reading...

ok with thanks , it looks like surgery it is then, the connector is locked tight i cannot undue it /do it up even so i will have to disassemble the whole thing cannot think of another way around it.is there a guide on here somewhere as to how to do it? thankyou

i have also done the moter hall signal wire test and this worked i.e the leds lit up in sequence when i span the moter backwards. nothing happend when i moved it in a forwards direction?
