Now VW consider entering the ebike market

Lovely folding mechanism! I think we'll see a few more 'out of the box' ideas in the years to come. Designers and big companies like 'Lexus' and now 'VW' are coming to terms with the possible future of cycle/eco transport. Who next? Apple?

Lexus hybrid bicycle: Both-wheel drive ?!?

They just mean 'you' power the rear, the motor the front! A lot of peoples first comments when I tell them about my bike is the same.. "oh neat.. 2 wheel drive!" The term Hybrid is also banded about a lot at the moment, meaning a road/track commuting sports utility etc etc

What colour would YOU like to see on eBikes?

Black, tends to conceal most of the cables, however if the Panasonic mouldings are silver then possibly a silver bike. Emotion and Swiss Flyer models have a few which follow that rule and I think turn out quite well. Raleigh badge, made in UK?

Top Grades for Kalkhoff Electric Bikes

Does have a small mudguard at the rear! That's a fair comment about mudguards, if you really feel they stop all the muck from heading in your direction. There are a few electric bikes from a few different companies who seem to do well without mudguards however, Cytronex to name just one. And...

Design age I think it has a lot more to do with the whole bike design not just accessories, this is a Panasonic bike which has a much more modern look which I believe appeals to the younger demographic.

    Wisper or Gepida

my tuppence Hi Stumpi! I'd have a look at the Emotion bikes, the one below in particular, I'm in a very similar position to you regarding stable mates, but flecc may have a point regarding your unique riding situation with the crank systems. BH - E-motion Off-road 650 - Vélos, Vtt...
