With my tsdz2 my brake and gear lines don't fit between the BB and motor.

For the sake of an extra 1kg or 1.5kg for battery weight I don't see the faff for the charger routine on a ride. I take enough wh to manage a 160km ride and the bike takes the weight and isn't that noticeable unless one has to pick it up to carry.

Technically surgical spirit is a formulation used in medical terms, it contains castor oil and oil of wintergreen Rubbing oil can also contain ethyl alcohol. If one sticks to 99.99% Isoproponol then it is a good brake cleanser .

Isoproponol is widely used for cleaning PCB's due to it being nigh on neat spirit, being neat it leaves no residues.

Rubbing oil/ surgical spirit is not the same as Isoproponol, otherwise they would be 100% not 60/70%.
