    New chain !

The only time I change cassettes is simply for more gearing , like Guerney I use gearbox oil and that's it bar swapping a chain out for clean now and then. A typical rider doesn't imv need to bother about fussing for chain stretch or a new cassette every few chains .

    An awkward question!

No , it would be in the classs 250w LPM . With the V5 test/certificate one will have the same rights as a EAPC. The 250 LPM class is only specific for UK requirements. As mentioned by Ben one has to make/add a couple of changes to pass esp with the brake levers . As with riding on any shared...

    New chain !

I use KMC X10.93 with my Gravel bike, though not much use to you as in longevity as it is a friction drive and not mid drive . My 9sp TSDZ2 I use KMC X9.93 . KMX X series are my go to chain, bar my Alfine 8 for which I use a KMC single speed chain. All my chains I use in pairs and rotate...

    An awkward question!

One can ahave a legal throttle if the trike is SVA tested and adhere's to the EAPC directive of 250w rated hub, pedal assist fitted , max speed no more then 15.5mph. Upon a satisfactory test one will be issued a V5 certificate, the process is a one off process. Any twist throttle /speed switch...

Yuba Mundo cargo bike with Tongsheng TSDZ8

Yes a converted anologue cargo with mid drive is certainly a cheaper steed then the full on E version and to boot none of the canbus or handshaking involved between components. My Kona Ute with TSDZ2 cost me approx. £1400 including making my own molicell p42 battery.

There is another option to try and that is the phase /hall wire swapping , as we tell folks it is a gimme that colour to colour will work always out of thr box. I have posted many times the 36 combo chart to follow to find the best possible combo.

Help! eBike Battery Connector Issue (feeling like an idiot)

Cut the bullets off and solder on an XT60, then one doesn't need an extra adapter in between. Or simply cut both connectors off and solder the two wires to each other and insulate them, there is no need for a connector with a removable battery.

KT controller, KT LCD3 and pass - guide on working modes

P2 will typically be value 01 for most hubs as prettymuch most of them use only one magnet for sensing , however if the odo reads very erratic or well over then it is possible the hub uses six sensing magnets.
