I know that it's best to recharge our two Li-on batteries after each use (unless the distance since last charge was tiny) and we do this. But when we're in the motorhome on trips, we often start a charging cycle, then have to pull the plug to use the socket for something else (e.g. boil kettle)...

We looked into this with that style of Powabyke battery a year or so ago, but just couldn't find replacement cells at a price that made it worthwhile.
