All sorted. I measured the battery outout at the bullet connectors & it was 3Vdc :confused: Took the battery off & it was 40Vdc, put it back on the bike & the voltage at the bullet connectors was 40Vdc & the controller powers fine :)

I'm a bit late to the party but if like mine, you can't use the bolt to hold the tool in place, a G-clamp does the trick, just remember not to wind it up hard & to loosen it off slightly as it moves! I had to remove the last BB with a 4' pole!

You can get replacement studs. Schwalbe UK sent me a handful & I got a pack of Nokian footwear studs http://www.jmcaleer.com/index.php?p=product&id=641&parent=63 Fitting is easy, wet the stud/tyre & use a pair of fine nose pliers to get them in.

Well, it's fitted & tidied enough to test. It goes very well on the brief test up & down the road. I need to get some larger cable ties tomorrow & properly tidy it up. I also need to find the larger rubber inserts for my Hope Vision1 as it's not going to be fitted in the centre on this bike.
